The Agaune House of Prayer was born in the Chapelle of Vérolliez following our move in 2016 in la Maison de la Famille. Way before we came to live in Vérolliez Thierry would already come here and pray often. When we finally moved to Vérolliez, it was so natural to intesified the long hours of prayer in this special place.

As time went by, silent prayer gave at time room for the expression of the House of Prayer that we carry : one in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David. A prayer where musical and talked prayer interact with each other simuntaneously, lead by the marriage of liturgy and spontaneity.

During those first years a friendship grew progressively with the Abby of St-Maurice. It is from this relationship that the Agaune House of Prayer as we know it today was established.

Following the pandemic, all our prayer times take place in the upper rooms in the chapelle. Those times are also available live online on our website.
